About our
Tattoo Removal Laser
Welcome to Oldham Tattoo Removal, our Picosecond ND YAG Technology Tattoo Removal Laser produces ultra-short pulses targeting the ink particles with pressure so great, it shatters the ink into tiny particles.
Because the laser particles are so tiny, they are more easily absorbed and eliminated by the body. This ensures less heat, less pain and less healing time to the area treated.
The picosecond laser offers two distinct Q-switched mode wavelengths - 1064nm & 532nm which expands its treatment applications to coloured ink including the more difficult green and sky blue colours.
Pico technology is less painful compared to standard lasers, coupled with our cooling system being applied before and after treatment, any discomfort is further reduced.
If you have a special occasion coming up, a new job to start, or already have a cover up tattoo session booked, Picosecond Technology is the most effective and fastest way to remove your tattoo, and is effective with those more difficult colours like blue or green.

How is a Picosecond technology laser different from a Q-Switched laser?Picosecond Lasers are around 10 times faster than Q-Switched lasers. The pulses are so fast that the pigment smashing effect is more efficient and the heat generated in the skin is so much less. It means the number of treatments can be reduced and the time bwtween sessions can be less. Q-Switched lasers reduce the pulse duration to nanoseconds. Picosecond technology goes further by reducing it to sub-nanoseconds.
